1. About Lawtus

Lawtus is an education platform focused on competitive examination preparation, currently offering preparation programs for law entrance examinations including KLEE (Kerala Law Entrance Examination), CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), and other examinations or programs introduced on the platform.

Lawtus is an independent educational platform and is not an official examination authority, government body, university, or examination conducting authority unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. User Account

Certain features of Lawtus require you to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• Use your account only for your personal use.
• Not share, sell, transfer, or provide access to your account to another person.
• Notify Lawtus if you become aware of unauthorised access to your account.

You are responsible for activities carried out through your account. Lawtus may suspend or terminate an account where it is found to be misused or used in violation of these Terms.

3. Courses and Programs

Lawtus provides various educational programs, courses, test series, mentorship programs, and other learning services. The duration, fee, number of classes, faculty, study materials, tests, mentorship sessions, and other features may vary depending on the program selected.

The specific inclusions and access period applicable to a program will be communicated at the time of enrolment or purchase.

Lawtus may reasonably modify class schedules, faculty, course content, or delivery methods when required.

4. Classes and Course Access

Depending on the program, students may receive access to live classes, recorded classes, study materials, tests, and other resources. Course access is personal to the enrolled student. Students must not:

• Share class links or account credentials.
• Record classes without permission.
• Upload or distribute recorded classes.
• Share, sell, reproduce, or redistribute course materials.
• Provide paid course access to another person.

Unauthorised sharing or distribution may result in suspension or termination of access and may lead to further action where applicable.

5. Educational Content

All educational content provided through Lawtus, including videos, recordings, notes, PDFs, questions, mock tests, current affairs resources, presentations, graphics, and other materials (“Content”), is intended for personal educational use.

Content owned or licensed by Lawtus may not be copied, reproduced, modified, published, distributed, resold, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

6. Mock Tests and Performance

Lawtus may provide mock examinations, practice questions, sectional tests, rankings, scores, performance reports, and other assessment tools. These are intended to assist students with preparation and self-assessment.

Performance in Lawtus assessments does not guarantee any particular examination score, rank, admission, college, or other outcome.

7. Mentorship

Where included in a program, mentorship provides academic guidance and preparation support. Mentorship does not guarantee a particular examination result, rank, admission, college, or other academic outcome.

The frequency, duration, and format of mentorship may vary depending on the program purchased.

8. Examination Information

Lawtus may provide examination-related information such as notifications, eligibility requirements, important dates, syllabus-related information, application information, and other updates.

Such information may be based on information publicly released by the respective official examination authorities. Lawtus makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information; however, students should always verify important examination information with the relevant official authority.

Lawtus is not responsible for changes, delays, omissions, or errors in information issued by examination authorities.

9. Payments

Certain Lawtus Services require payment. The applicable fee, payment terms, course access period, and inclusions will be displayed or communicated before purchase.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways. By completing a purchase, you agree to the applicable payment terms for the selected Service.

10. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, cancellations, and course transfers are subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy applicable to the relevant program.

The applicable policy may differ between programs and will be communicated at the time of purchase or enrolment.

11. Intellectual Property

All Lawtus branding, logos, trademarks, course structures, original educational content, designs, videos, study materials, questions, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Lawtus and are protected under applicable laws.

Purchasing or accessing a course does not transfer ownership of any Lawtus Content to the user.

12. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use Lawtus for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Share or misuse another person’s account.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform.
• Copy, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit Lawtus Content.
• Distribute or sell Lawtus materials without permission.
• Interfere with the security or functioning of the platform.
• Upload malicious or harmful content.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Lawtus.

Lawtus may take appropriate action against violations of these Terms.

13. Platform Availability

We aim to keep Lawtus available and functioning properly. However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

The platform may temporarily be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, updates, internet or network problems, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

14. No Guarantee of Results

Lawtus provides educational resources, preparation programs, assessments, and guidance to support examination preparation. However, Lawtus does not guarantee any particular examination score, rank, admission, college, scholarship, or other result.

Individual outcomes depend on various factors, including the student’s preparation, performance, examination conditions, and decisions of the relevant authorities.

15. Changes to Services

Lawtus may update, modify, add, or remove features, courses, Content, or Services from time to time.

We may also update these Terms when necessary. Updated Terms will be made available through the platform. Continued use of Lawtus after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, subject to applicable law.

16. Suspension or Termination

Lawtus may suspend or terminate access to an account or Service if a user violates these Terms, misuses the platform, shares or distributes Content without permission, engages in fraudulent activity, or otherwise abuses the Services.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kerala, India.
